Terms of Service

1.The service

Facticy provides automated, best-effort verification, scoring and annotation of documents. Scores and verdicts are estimates produced by AI and deterministic checks — they are not guarantees and must not be treated as certainty or as professional, legal or financial advice.

2.Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3.Acceptable use

• Only upload documents you have the right to submit.
• Do not upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or circumvent the limits of the service.
• Do not use the service to build a competing product from its outputs.

4.Your content

You keep all rights to the documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the analysis, including sending content to the sub-processors listed on the Sub-processors page.

5.AI processing

You acknowledge that, to deliver results, document content is processed by third-party AI providers, and — outside Confidential mode — may be used in web-evidence searches. You are responsible for ensuring you may share the content on this basis.

6.Plans, usage & payment

Analysis consumes paid AI APIs. Usage is subject to your plan's limits and budget. We show a cost estimate before each analysis and enforce a monthly budget per account.

7.Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8.Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

9.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the service's output, nor for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months.

10.Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
